Online Payments

RSD has a new portal for parents and students to pay school fees and fines for items such as yearbooks, summer school, athletics, ASB activities, field trips and more. Note: meal payments need to be paid at www.mymealtime.com. 

Making Payments

  1. Log into your Powerschool account. If you do not have a Powerschool account, please follow the instructions at www.rsd.edu/students/powerschool-login (also listed below).
  2. Click on 'Purchases and Payments' option on the bottom, left side menu on the homepage. Clicking this link will automatically log you into the Online Payments account where you will be able to purchase items and pay fees. Students can also access Powerschool by logging into Launchpad.

The steps above can only be completed using an internet browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Android browser, etc. (computer, tablet) and CANNOT be done using the Powerschool Mobile App.

Shopping for Items

  1. Select which student you are shopping for from the main menu.
  2. Click on 'Items at Student's School.'
  3. Choose the category you would like to shop in.
  4. Select items and click 'Buy' to add to your cart.
  5. You can add multiple items from different categories and for any of your students.
  6. When you are finished adding items, click 'Checkout' in the upper right corner.
  7. Follow the prompts to enter your information and complete the purchase.

Paying Fines

  1. Select your student from the main menu.
  2. Select 'Pay Fines/Fees.'
  3. Click on the item and add it to the cart.
  4. Add additional items and/or click 'Checkout' in the upper right corner.
  5. Follow the prompts to enter your information and complete the payment.

Note: If you have a fine for a textbook, please do not pay the fine online if you plan on returning it.

Creating a PowerSchool Parent Account

If a parent has not created a PowerSchool Parent Account, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Parent PowerSchool Login button
  2. Select "Create Account"
  3. Enter your name and email address and create a username and password
  4. Select "Link Student To Account" and enter your student's Access ID and Access Password

Obtaining an Access ID and Password

If you need your student's Access ID and Access Password, or if you need assistance with your Parent account, send an email to powerschool@rsd.edu.  You may also contact your student's school with assistance obtaining your student's Access ID and Access password.
