Chromebook Support Services

  • Chromebook Check In/Out: 8-11 a.m. & 1-4 p.m., Monday through Friday at IT Offices (615 Snow Ave.) 

Our IT department will provide support to students and families with hardware issues and access to district-approved applications with district-issued Chromebooks. We will accommodate pickup as soon as possible, if not then it will be the next available pickup window. If morning, then afternoon, if afternoon then next morning.

NOTE: appointments need to be scheduled in in advance to allow IT staff time to prepare accordingly, drop-ins will be asked to enter a support request via tech support options before a replacement will be issued.

IT specialists will not be able to assist with connectivity and software issues for Chromebooks or problems with personal devices.

Free Home Internet Availability

Washington's K-12 Internet Access offers free home DSL Internet service through Ziply Fiber for qualifying families through June 30, 2021.

To qualify for this program, a student’s household must meet the following criteria:

  • child must be eligible for free or reduced-price meals AND
  • student's household must not have had internet service prior to August 2020

SIGN UP INSTRUCTIONS:

In order for students to apply for this program, a parent or guardian should call Ziply Fiber at 866-916-0139 and provide this code: ric2020.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 10:00pm PST, Saturday and Sunday 8:00am – 6:00pm PST.

Families will need to provide details to verify eligibility. This information will only be shared with Washington’s K–12 education department through a secure access portal. Please note, the State of Washington will audit eligibility throughout the program. Should they determine a student's eligibility status has changed, service will be discontinued.
