Our schools offer multiple opportunities for students to pursue the arts so they can create, connect and explore what gives them joy.

Creativity, dedication, self-expression, and other skills are as crucial to artists as to many other fields and careers. Art also demonstrates how fun learning can be, giving students an avenue to lifelong inspiration. Our community is committed to supporting these offerings, ensuring our programs have what they need to help our students shine, whether on stage or in a gallery.

Visual Arts

Our visual arts program begins in kindergarten with full-time art teachers in each of our elementary schools who teach techniques and the styles and methods of great artists. Students may continue to pursue art as they move through middle and high school, including textiles, jewelry design and fabrication and multimedia and interior design.

Music

Students begin receiving music instruction in kindergarten, with additional opportunities to explore music through strings, marimba or steel drum programs at elementary schools. Our secondary schools build on this foundation with multiple offerings in choral and instrumental music.

Dramatic Arts

Opportunities in theater and dramatic production are available at some of our elementary schools. Each secondary school offers some level of drama programming as well as courses related to theater production, such as set design.
