UPDATE 3/16/21: Gov. Jay Inslee has eased restrictions on event attendance, including for high school sporting events and graduations. The latest information the district received indicates these expanded capacity standards will be in place beginning March 18. View the latest update on the state’s event capacity limits.
District and school leaders are reviewing the new state guidance with the intent to provide more access to families, students and the community to events. Capacity will still be limited so stay tuned for updates from the schools or reach out to the school offices with questions. Broadcast media students will also continue to broadcast many student athletic games and competitions.
Lastly, please wear masks, keep your distance from others and wash your hands so our community and schools continue to reopen safely.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: COVID-19 precautions are limiting public attendance at games and events but you can still watch our students take the field or court!
Atomic TV and Falcon Report, Richland and Hanford high schools’ respective student media YouTube channels, are broadcasting many of their school’s sports competitions.
