Two RSD Students Received Scholarships at HAAP Awards Ceremony
Hispanic Academic Achievers Program (HAAP) celebrates the academic achievements of Hispanic students in grades 4-12.
This year, more than 839 students from every RSD elementary, middle and high school have been recognized for their academic excellence, 3.0+ GPA (secondary students) and Hispanic Heritage.
In addition, two RSD high school seniors were awarded scholarships for their academic success.
- Monique Jade Trevino, Hanford High School, $2,000 Richland Education Association Scholarship. She plans to attend Western Washington University, where she intends to physical therapy.
- Madison Gonzalez, Hanford High School, $4,000 HAAP scholarship. Madison plans to attend University of Washington Bothell, to study biology.
