Three RHS Students Selected for 2025 PLU Honor Orchestra Strings Program
Richland High School Chamber Orchestra student leaders Victor Zinchuk (grade 10), Abraham VanDevender (grade 12), and Lena Olson (grade 11) have been selected for the 2025 Pacific Lutheran University Honor Orchestra for Strings in Tacoma, WA.
This program brings together outstanding high school string players from across the country, offering them the opportunity to perform exceptional string orchestra literature under the direction of nationally recognized guest conductor, Sarah Ioannides.
These young musicians will gain valuable experience through two days of intensive rehearsals and sectionals with expert string clinicians, culminating in a final performance by the Honor Orchestra on January 19. Congratulations!
