RSD Receives More Than $57,000 For Student Activities

A donation of tens of thousands of dollars will go toward activities, athletics and other needs at RSD schools thanks to Gesa Credit Union and the community.

RSD received $57,596 from the credit union as part of the Affinity Debit Card program. The annual contribution from Gesa is determined by how many times the credit union’s Richland High School- or Hanford High School-branded debit cards are used.

Gesa customers may request the branded cards at no charge and there is no fee for their use. Learn more about the program.

Gesa also supports financial literacy education in the district’s high schools through school-based credit union branches that are are operated and managed by students trained by Gesa staff.
