Richland School District is proud to announce that it has been named the 2025 Hope Holder of the Year by Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW). This annual award recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to fostering health, justice, and hope in their communities.
The award was presented at LCSNW’s annual Holding Hope event, which brings attention to the critical need for mental and behavioral health services for youth across the region. Richland School District was recognized for its leadership in expanding student mental health supports and for its strong partnerships with community agencies that help meet the social-emotional needs of students.
“We are truly honored to receive the Hope Holder of the Year Award,” said Dr. Shelley Redinger, Superintendent of Richland School District. “This recognition reflects the incredible work of our staff and community partners who are committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our students. It’s a powerful reminder that meaningful progress can happen when schools and community partners work together.”
Richland School District remains committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. The district thanks LCSNW for this recognition and extends its gratitude to all staff and partners who make this important work possible.
