Richland School District continues to grow and the Richland School Board is seeking candidates for a Facilities Planning Committee to help plan for new and expanded schools, including the district's third high school.
The committee will be charged with developing a Long-Term Facility Plan that allows the district to provide sustainable learning facilities for its students, protect its investments in grounds and buildings, and to maintain predictable, affordable levy & bond rates.
Community members and RSD staff who care deeply about schools and are committed to helping the district meet the needs of students are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 11. Board members will review applications and make committee appointments by Oct. 25.
