Join the district in congratulating the five high school students named National Merit Semifinalists for 2019.
Richland High School senior Bryan Fang and Hanford High School seniors Christopher Kang, Preston Raab, Michelle Wang, and Kevin Yang are five of the six Tri-City students to earn the recognition, which means they are among the highest scorers on the PSAT in the state.
All have big plans for their futures and Christopher, who graduated a year early, is already pursuing them at the University of Washington. They now wait to see if they are named Finalists later this year.
