Hanford High Senior Earns Judge's Choice Award At 2021 Regional Art Show

Hanford High's Maria Gardner jewelry piece, "Eye of the Cat," will compete at the state level after being selected as a Judge's Choice winner at this year's Educational Service District 123  Regional High School Student Art Show.

Maria was one of four students to earn the top award at this year's regional art show, which was conducted virtually. She and another Hanford High student, Nora Short, were the only Richland School District students to submit entries in this year's competition.

Maria was also one of six students who won a $2,000 scholarship from Central Washington University on the strength of her art.
