Give Your Input On The Search For Our Next Superintendent

The Richland School Board wants to know: what should board members be looking for in the next superintendent of Richland School District? 

Take the online survey for community members to provide input. The survey is designed to measure the community's perception of the district and what characteristics are wanted in the district's next leader. The survey will be available until Jan. 17. (The survey is now closed)

The Board is inviting parents, staff and community members to participate in upcoming focus groups to share what qualities and characteristics the community wants in the district’s next leader.

  • 1 p.m. Community Leaders (by invitation, RSD Administration Building)

  • 2 p.m. non-Cabinet central office directors/supervisors (RSD Administration Building)

  • 3 p.m. Classified Employee Leadership (RSD Administration Building)

  • 4:30 p.m. Staff (RHS Library)

  • 5:30 p.m. Community (RHS Cafeteria)

Wednesday, Jan. 8

  • 8 a.m. Secondary Principals (RHS Library)

  • 10 a.m. Certificated Employee Leadership (RSD Administration Building)

  • 11 a.m. Student Advisory Council (RSD Administration Building)

  • 1 p.m. Elementary Principals (RSD Administration Building)

  • 4:30 p.m. Staff (Leona Libby Middle School Library)

  • 5:30 p.m. Community (Leona Libby Middle School Commons)

The meetings will be approximately 45 minutes long and led by consultant Hank Harris, who is assisting the Board in the superintendent search process.
