Richland School District is proud to recognize five educators who have recently earned National Board Certification, one of the highest professional distinctions in education. They were honored at the RSD school board meeting on February 10. 

Congratulations to:

• Angela Forrester, Early Learning Center — Generalist/Early Childhood

• Jessica Kinney, River’s Edge High School — Science/Adolescence and Young Adulthood

• Pamela Lucas, Jason Lee Elementary — Literacy: Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood

• Sarah Sarver, Chief Joseph Middle School — Mathematics/Early Adolescence

• Andrea Tamez, Jefferson Elementary — Generalist/Early Childhood

National Board Certification is a rigorous, voluntary process that reflects a strong commitment to professional growth, high-quality instruction, and advancing student learning. These educators exemplify excellence in their profession and make a meaningful impact on students in our schools.
