Congratulations to Ben Franklin Transit’s Dial A Ride Team, recently awarded the Career & Technical Education Community Service Award of Merit by the CTE Work-Based Learning division of Career Counseling Employment Readiness.
Our transit system continues to be a valuable Work Based Learning partner in providing our students transportation to their jobs. Dial a Ride’s support provides life-changing WBL opportunities in our community, because if WBL students can’t do their jobs if they can’t get to their jobs. BFT offers our students opportunities for building confidence and independence as these young adults navigate their community. We are so grateful to the Dial a Ride Team & BFT and our 15-year WBL relationship. Many lives continue to be enriched, outcomes of BFT’s steadfast support.
