The Richland School District is inviting community members to an information night from 6 to 7 p.m. on March 2 in the multi-purpose room at Jefferson Elementary to learn about a proposed community health center next to the Early Learning Center (ELC) and Jefferson Elementary.
The meeting will include brief presentations from district administrators and representatives from Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) about the project and the services the center would offer. Community members will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions.
The health center would be operated by TCCH and be designed to serve the needs of communities that have limited access to health care. For families interested in its services, the clinic would offer primary medical care for children such as immunizations, wellness exams and sports physicals.
TCCH would build the facility on school property and operate it independently of and without cost to the district.
