State & Federal Programs
Our State & Federal Programs help students overcome challenges they face in receiving a quality education.
This includes language barriers, socio-economic status, housing circumstances and more. These programs are supported by dedicated state and federal funding that ensures services are provided to our students and their families.

Parent and Family Engagement Policy
A written parent and family engagement policy explains how a school will support the important role families play in the education of their children. Every school that receives Title I, Part A funds must have a written parent and family engagement policy.
The parent and family engagement policy is developed jointly with, and distributed to, parents and family members with children attending a Title I school. Each spring a parent survey is provided to gather input to identify the needs of families at all seven of our schools receiving Title I, Part A funds. The intent of the survey is to identify support that schools can provide to increase parent participation, provide parents with an opportunity to give input into the Parent/School Compact, and define how parents would like the school to spend parent and family engagement funds to support family partnerships.
The school’s written parent and family engagement policy outlines the goals and actions it will take to develop an effective partnership with families and identifies how these goals and actions will be implemented. It is an opportunity for clearer communication and meaningful collaboration with families. Each school receiving Title I, Part A funds has developed a parent and family engagement policy.
