Parent and Guardian Advisory Committee

The Richland School Board is deeply committed to fostering open dialogue with parents and guardians to ensure the success of all students. To further this goal, the RSD Parent and Guardian Advisory Committee was founded to serve as a vital platform for encouraging parent engagement while providing valuable insights and recommendations to the School Board.

The committee meets monthly on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. both in-person and via Zoom. Anyone who is a family member of a current RSD student is welcome to attend, no registration is needed.

Previous topics discussed at meetings have included cell phones in schools, inclusion and inclusionary practices, mental health, curriculum and assessments, and more.
