Visitors
All RSD schools use the Raptor Technologies Visitor Management System to verify each visitor entering a school building. This helps staff know precisely who is on campus at any given moment in case of an emergency. The system also scans the visitor's state-issued ID checking the sex offender registry and other lists such as no contract orders.
This new system streamlines the sign-in and out process for all visitors, making it consistent districtwide. It also strengthens our visitor processes, tightening security on all school campuses.
What to Do:
- Bring your Driver's License/State ID (other forms of ID do not work) with you when entering a school
- Scan your ID at the school's front desk and receive a visitor badge with a barcode
- When leaving the school, you will be asked to scan the barcode on your visitor badge as you exit
