Policy 8132 - Activity Transportation
The safety and proper supervision of participants is the District’s paramount concern as related to students being transported to and from school-sponsored activities. To this end, the district prefers – whenever practical – to have such transportation carried on by means of school-owned or commercial vehicles operated by authorized drivers. When this is not practical, the administration is charged with the responsibility of finding private vehicles with competent, adequately insured, adult drivers.
