Policy 6640 - Use of District-Owned Vehicles

It is the policy of Richland School District that vehicles will be provided by the district for use by designated employees in carrying out specified duties. Such Vehicles are to be assigned to personnel or departments whose duties require regular in-district travel, such as maintenance, construction office, grounds, transportation, and etc. 

District-owned vehicles are not to be used for transportation between school and home unless such use is authorized by the superintendent or his/her designee as appropriate. 

Assignment and use of school-owned vehicles shall be established and administered by the appropriate supervisor at the director level or above.
