Policy 4110 - Citizen Advisory Committees And Task Forces

The superintendent and/or the board may develop an advisory committee or task force as necessary to gather public input and establish interaction with the community regarding selected issues. The committee will study district/school topics and submit their findings and recommendations to the superintendent and/or the school board. This committee will be formed by authorization of the board. Such approval will include a description of the responsibilities and reporting relationships, as well as specify the duration of the committee’s existence. All such committees will be district-driven, and the district will establish the specifics of the committee.
