Policy 1733 - Board Member Compensation

Each school board member may receive compensation for fifty (50) dollars per day or portion thereof for attending board meetings and for performing other services on behalf of the school district. Total compensation for each board member shall not exceed four thousand eight hundred (4,800) dollars per year. Such compensation shall come from locally collected excess levy funds available for that purpose. 

Any board member may waive all or any portion of his or her compensation for any month or months during his/her term of office by filing at any time after the board member’s election and before the date on this compensation would normally be paid. The waiver shall specify the month or period of months for which it is in effect.
