Bonds & Levies
Richland School District will seek to renew the district's Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) and Technology levies. At their regular meeting on Nov. 23, 2021, the Richland School Board unanimously approved to place the levy resolutions on the February 2022 special election ballot. The current levies expire at the end of 2022.
Local levy funding provides roughly $1 for every $6 in the district’s budget. That funding supports numerous needs and initiatives, from paying for school nurses and school resource officers (SROs) to ensuring students may participate in the fine arts and athletics.
We are able to offer programs and opportunities beyond the basic educational experience in growing schools and facilities thanks to the generous support of our community.
Voters have consistently approved bonds that maintain, enhance and build schools throughout the district as well as levies that pay for those services and needs in our schools not funded by state education dollars.
