The Teaching, Learning & Curriculum Department supports this mission by designing and assessing curricula; reviewing instructional and intervention materials; and providing our teachers and other school staff with professional development and training.

Community Members Needed For Social Emotional Learning Curriculum Committee

Richland School District is seeking three community members (families and partner organizations) to serve on a K-12 instructional materials adoption committee.  Selected individuals will spend 7-8 full days between January and June of 2022 supporting an initial review of research and best instructional practices.  The committee will also review and recommend instructional materials to pilot in classrooms in the fall of 2022.  Following the pilot the committee will spend 2-3 days reviewing data gathered during a pilot process and make recommendations to the Instructional Materials Committee for adoption.
