Superintendent's Community Advisory Council

The Community Advisory Council includes community members from each school who will meet with Dr. Redinger and other district and school representatives to learn about and give input on various district initiatives and projects.

  • What are some of the issues the council deals with?
    Issues may include boundary revisions, school start times, long range planning, student safety, and school district communication. The meeting agendas will vary each meeting based on issues raised by council members and the community at large.
     
  • How often will the council meet?
    The council will tentatively meet once per month, with the day and time determined by its members.
     
  • What are the qualifications for membership?
    Membership requires only residency in the school district and a sincere interest in education. Membership applications are reviewed by the Superintendent and recommended to  the Richland School Board for approval.
