Middle & High School
Preparing students for life beyond high schoolSecondary IEP transition components are the tools to guide the IEP team to identify the students’ post-school goals for employment, education, and independent living. Based on those goals, IEP teams recommend the student’s individualized course of study-a roadmap of classes-to prepare the student for those transition goals. Learn more about OSPI transition services.
The IEP team determines transition services for the course of study, specific to the student’s goals and needs. Learn more about the IEP process.
