RSD Field Day

RSD Field Day is an annual event each spring where student athletes with disabilities take the field and are joined by our whole community to raise awareness, celebrate their strengths and build relationships and memories.

This event was created for students with disabilities who typically cannot regularly access or have limited access to General PE, school sports, or traditional school activities (games, after-school activities, clubs, etc.) without the support of an adult staff member to ensure their safety (physical, emotional, behavioral, etc.) within school hours.

There is no cost for RSD students to participate and the event is open and free to the public so everyone can come and cheer the student athletes on. Event details and registration information for students typically opens in late winter to early spring each year.

New for 2024: Assistive technology games are being added to Field Day including adapted Plinko, adapted Javelin/Archery and more!
