Distribution and Logistics

The Distribution and Logistics department works within the Richland School District by receiving, storing and distributing materials throughout the district.Based out of the Distribution Center on Thayer Drive in Richland, our team provides the following services:

• Daily Courier Service to all district facilities for inter-department mail, Print Shop orders and regular mail distribution.
• Central Receiving for large orders of materials such as classroom goods for district-wide distribution.
• Building-to-Building Logistics for moves of offices or classrooms between buildings and temporary distribution of equipment for events.
• Operations Support for materials and supplies used by Nutrition Services, Custodial, Landscape Services, Maintenance, I.T., Transportation, Special Services, Career & Technical Education, and Curriculum. 
• Surplus for the repurposing of all materials within the district, to other public schools, through public auction and by recycling.
