Public Art in Schools
Each piece of public art in RSD schools belong to the state’s public art collection. These pieces are intended to inspire and engage students with the diversity of experiences and communities they live in. The Washington State Arts Commission coordinates the process for school teams to select artists and collaborate on the artwork for their school. Some artwork may be located in areas not accessible to the general public. Consider contacting the school site prior to a visit to ensure access.
