Our Capital Projects office oversees the construction and major remodels of all of our facilities.

These projects, paid for by our supportive community, allow our schools to meet the needs of our growing enrollment while also providing safe and welcoming spaces for student learning.

Fran Rish Stadium - GC/CM Information

The Richland School District would like to partner with a highly qualified General Contractor/Construction Management (GC/CM) firm to become a collaborative team member on the Fran Rish Stadium Improvements Project.  General Contractor/Construction Management (GC/CM) is a supplemental alternative public works contracting process. A public body (like a school district) selects a General Contractor to provide services during the Design and Construction phases of a project. Below are links to the Request for Qualification (RFQ) and updates on the selection process.

RSD Facilities Planning Committee

The district's Facilities Planning Committee is charged with developing a Long-Term Facility Plan that will help the Richland School Board provide sustainable learning facilities for its students, protect its investments in grounds and buildings, and to maintain predictable, affordable levy rates.

Early Learning Center

This project is a renovation of the 1982 wing of the old Jefferson Elementary into a space serving the district's Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) and developmental preschool. The renovations will take place over several years.

This project will be build a new school in the Badger Mountain South residential development near Dallas Road. The building will be a prototypical design similar to that of the new Tapteal Elementary.
