RSD Impact Partners Program

As an Impact Partner, your business will receive opportunities to engage directly with students, families, and staff. Partners will be invited to participate in at least two school events each year to showcase their business, share their expertise, and connect with the community. Businesses may also volunteer in schools, support student learning through mentorship and career awareness activities, and gain visibility through recognition on school and district websites, social media channels, and other communications.

Direct benefits:

• Opportunity to have a table or display information at two school events 
• Acknowledgement of your business as an impact partner through various district and school channels such as indoor/outdoor readerboards, social media, etc.
• Placement of your business logo in at least one school-level and district-level newsletter or publication
• Placement of your business logo on the district and school websites linked to your business website.
• Certificate to hang at your business acknowledging partnership

Yes. The minimum financial investment is $500 per school partnership. Impact Partners will receive a letter and/or receipt documenting the donation to the school. Information regarding what the funds are used for will also be provided to the partner.

A $500 Impact Partners donation creates opportunities that enhance school culture, enrich learning experiences, and provide resources that directly benefit students. Each school's leadership team determines how funds can best meet the unique needs of their students and community.

Your Impact Partner contribution could be used by the school in various ways. Some examples include:

Supporting School Culture & Student Recognition

• Student-of-the-month awards and recognition programs
• Positive behavior incentives and celebrations
• School spirit activities and assemblies
• Leadership and student council projects

Enhancing Learning Opportunities

• Classroom supplies and hands-on learning materials
• Books for classroom libraries or literacy initiatives
• Guest speakers and educational presentations
• Career exploration and college readiness activities

Supporting Student Well-Being

• Supplies for student wellness rooms or calming spaces
• Clothing, hygiene items, or emergency student assistance
• Lunch-time and recess equipment
• Stocking the school's food pantry

Enriching School Programs

• Field trip scholarships for students in need
• Club and extracurricular program support
• Garden and outdoor learning projects
• Family engagement events and activities

Staff Morale Iniatives

• Recognition programs celebrating outstanding staff and milestones
• Snack stations during busy times of the year (i.e. conferences, testing)
• Team-building activities that strengthen school culture
• Staff lounge improvements and comfort items

The contact to be an Impact Partners lasts one school year. Each year you will have the option to renew your partnership with your current school.

Any business or service organization with a desire to make a difference in the lives of students is a potential partner. Your business/organization must align with district policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Business and individuals are encouraged to sign-up to volunteer in our schools. There are various options throughout the school year to help with events, classroom activities and more. Fill out a volunteer application to begin. 

Other ways to support our schools:

• In-kind donations such as school shirts, positive behavior incentives (games, books, snacks, etc.) and other prizes.
• Participate in Career Days, STEM nights and other after school activities. 
• Attend drama performances, concerts and sporting events to cheer on our students.
• Provide meals or treats for school staff.
• Fill a school's food pantry with shelf-stable items, bottles of water, hygiene products, etc.
• Join a school's PTA/PTO or Booster groups.
