Donations

Our District is fortunate to benefit from the support of parents, community members, businesses, and organizations that enrich the educational experience for our students through generous donations, meaningful partnerships, and dedicated volunteer service.

We gratefully accept donations of food pantry items, school supplies, backpacks, and other resources that help support the learning, wellbeing, and success of our students and staff. If you would like to make a donation, please complete the form below.

For those donating school supplies, we kindly ask that items align with the district's school supply lists. School supply lists are available on the RSD Back-to-School webpage.

Donation Compliance

To ensure that all gifts align with district priorities and policies, the following guidelines apply, as outlined in Policy 6114:

Appropriate Gifts Only
The district cannot accept gifts that:

  • Are inappropriate or impose unsuitable conditions.
  • Obligate the district to future expenditures from the general fund which are out of proportion to the value of the gift.

Ownership & Use
All gifts shall become district property and shall be accepted without obligation relative to use and/or disposal. Use of a donation does not imply endorsement of a business or a product.

Board Approval
Any gift to the district, individual school, or department of money, materials, equipment, or facility having a value of $5,000 or greater shall be subject to board approval.
