Learn About The Proposed Digital Citizenship Curriculum

Richland School District invites parents and community members to learn about a proposed Digital Citizenship Curriculum and provide feedback at informational meetings beginning Oct. 2.

The curriculum and related materials would be used in kindergarten through Grade 12 and are aimed at helping prepare students to live and work in a technology-driven and digitally-connected world.

Informational meeting dates and locations: 

  • Oct. 2: Marcus Whitman Elementary
  • Oct. 8: Leona Libby Middle School
  • Oct. 11: Chief Joseph Middle School

All meetings will be from 6 to 7 p.m.

The proposed curriculum and materials will also be available for public review and comment from Oct. 1 to 12, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all schools and the district’s Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum department offices at 415 Wright Ave., Suite C.
