The success of White
Bluffs is dependent on the quality of the staff, curriculum, policies,
activities, and parent/student involvement. Below you will find useful
information and links in most of these areas.
Absences

Please call the school office
(967.6575) by 9:00 am on days that your
child will be absent, voicemail will answer during non-school hours.
Please provide your child's name and the reason for his/her absence.
This call lets us know your child is safe. You may also e-mail
attendance messages to Kathy.Wolfe@rsd.edu. The school office is
required to call home for all students not in attendance at the start
of the day and for whom no call has been received from the
parent.
This call is to verify parent knowledge of the student’s absence. |

The following Traffic Safety Plan has been
established to address parking and student drop off.
- The perimeter of the parent lot is for drop off and pick up
only. Please be considerate of the many parents who are trying to drop
off or pick up their children by not lingering in the permieter
(especially) during drop off). If you need extra time to say your
goodbyes in the morning, please stop along Kensington to do this and
then pull into the drop off loop.
- If you are entering the building, please find a parking
space in the lot or along Kensington to leave your vehicle.
- Never encourage your children to take short-cuts through
the parking areas. These lessons will transfer to times when you may
not be present and is a safety issue for our students.
- Always encourage children to utilize the sidewalks when
arriving and exiting campus.
- If you are in a parking space, please meet your child at
the sidewalk and walk with them to your car.
- Children should never cross any parking lot to get to a
vehicle without an adult with them.
- Always have children exit vehicles on the curb side (right
side) of the car. This keeps them from opening doors and stepping into
spaces where other cars are exiting.
