“PARENTING WITH DIGNITY”

Parenting Classes – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The West Richland Police Department is pleased to offer “Parenting With Dignity” classes.  All parents, prospective parents, and grandparents are invited to attend this FREE eight week seminar that focuses on parenting.  The seminars will be held on Thursday evenings beginning February 6, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The classes will be held in the Tapteal Elementary School , 705 N. 62nd Avenue, West Richland, Washington.  Free childcare will be provided by The Champions Program for children ages 5 to 12 only; however, space is limited so early registration is advised.

The West Richland Police Department is sponsoring this series of parenting seminars with Terry Buechler as facilitator.  She will be using the Drew Bledsoe Foundation video tape format.

“Parenting With Dignity” classes are structured to give parents insight into raising their children effectively.  Using a workbook, parents will be presented with possible solutions to a variety of parenting issues.

If you want to learn more about ever-changing parenting roles or need to learn more about specific areas of parenting, including those challenging teenage years, do not miss this opportunity to receive free training and ideas that will help you raise your children.
