Will be led by Rachel Blake. There will be two bands; a performing band that meets 5 days a week from 7:50 - 8:40 a.m.. They will be committed to coming to all morning rehearsals and performances in and out of school. There is also family commitment involved. The group depends on parents to drive students to evening events, help with fund-raising, and equipment. There will also be an after school steel band drum practice class. This after school class is offered to students in grades 3-5. There will be a maximum of 16 students in each 4-week session. Classes will be offered twice a week from 3:15 - 4:00 p.m. Upon completion of the session, students will perform at a school assembly. |
