This career preparation and financial planning course is filled with the key concepts and skills adults need to navigate on their own.  The career planning components of this course include: career assessments, career research, preparation of employment documents, practice job interviews, and authoring the High School and Beyond Plan as a guide for the student transition from high school to work or higher education.  The financial literacy components of this course address spending, saving, financial services, credit, consumer purchasing, funding for after-high-school education and budgeting.  Please note that this course provides key support in meeting two non-credit graduation requirements: High School and Beyond Plan and Culminating Project.  GRADUATION REQUIREMENT. Direct credit is possible from WWCC for students who pass with an 80% or better (No Fee).
