Culminating Project Toolkit

All RHS students planning to earn a diploma from the Richland School District participate in the state mandated Culminating Project.  This portfolio-based project provides students with an opportunity to document skills and abilities as well as articulate plans for the future.

Junior and senior level portfolios meeting the graduation requirement for culminating project will also be valuable tools in employment, scholarship, and admission interviews.

During freshman and sophomore year, students begin collecting the work samples and materials which serve as the building blocks for the portfolio. During Junior year students add career and educational planning work in preparation for the transition from high school into after-high-school education or the world of work.
