I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Marty Brewer. I was born and raised in Grandview, Washington. I am married to a wonderful woman, Terri. We have four daughters Nataleigh, Jessica, Kelsie, and Taylor.
I graduated with my BA from Eastern Washington University. I received my administrative credentials from Heritage College. In fact, I took a class with Paul Dowdy as the instructor.
I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with some fantastic educators. I started my career as a teacher in the Sunnyside School District. I have worked as an administrator in both the Grandview and Prosser School Districts.
Last year, the Lewis and Clark Leadership team worked on a School Improvement Plan (SIP) to help close the achievement gap for students not meeting standard on the WASL and other assessments. We experienced wonderful results from this hard work with the number of students meeting standard in Reading at 95.1%, Math at 85.2%, Writing 90.1% and Science 54.9%.

We continue to work on our SIP to set a vision for our school over the next three to five years. This current work, combined with a rich history at Lewis and Clark will continue to produce tremendous results.
