GATE TESTING

"It is time once again to consider referring students currently in
grades 2, 3 and 4 who might educationally benefit by participation in
the district's program for the highly capable.

NEW THIS YEAR . . . 5th Grade students (not currently in the GATE
program) will be assessed for middle school placement. Anyone may refer a child.  Please ask your school counselor for the GATE referral permission forms. 

The GATE testing is scheduled for:

Friday, January 19th for Reading
and Friday January 26th for Math

Students attend both testing days at their home school. The completed packet should be returned to the building counselor by January 16, 2007.

A Parent Information meeting will be held at Lewis & Clark on January
16th at 7pm.
