Gate Referral Cover Letter

It is time once again to consider referring students currently in
grades 2, 3 and 4 who might educationally benefit by participation in
the district's program for the highly capable.

NEW THIS YEAR . . . 5th Grade students (not currently in the GATE
program) will be assessed for middle school placement. Anyone may refer a child. Please ask your school counselor for the GATE referral permission forms.

The GATE testing is scheduled for:

Reading - January 15th 1:30
Math - January 22rd 1:30

Students attend both testing days at their home school. The completed packet should be returned to the building counselor by January 12.

GATE Parent Meeting

Elementary - Tuesday, January 12, 6 p.m.
Middle School - Tuesday, January 12, 7 p.m.
