Our 2007 Marching Band show "Journey to the Center of the Earth" ended its season at the Northwest Marching Band Championships at Oregon State University, in Corvallis, on November 2-4. Other competitions we attended were the CAVALCADE OF BANDS in Kennewick on October 6 and the HARVEST FESTIVAL in Yakima on October 20. At Cavalcade, we received Best Percussion in our division and Thompson Vou won the Caption Award of Best Drum Major. Hanford came in 5th in the overall standings. In Yakima, Hanford came in 2nd in the overall standings. The band performed at the four home football games in addition to traveling to the various competitions. Congratulations to all the band and color guard for a fabulous season!

The Hanford Music Association (HMA) is the Hanford High School music boosters organization. Booster meetings are usually the first Tuesday of each month at 7PM in the Band Room.

The next HMA meeting is Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at 7PM in the Band Room.
