Cloverstock has been moved from the week of
May 12th to the week of May 19th. Cloverstock will be Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Friday, at lunch. The
stage will be set up between the gyms, so grab your lunch and come enjoy live
music! This is one of the best events
of the year with music performances by CO27, the Crusty Peaches, CAB, and
more. T-Shirts will be on sale as well
as some tasty treats. So come check it
out and be a part of the fun all week long.
All boys interested in playing basketball
next season need to attend a meeting on Monday, May 12th, beginning
at 2:28 PM in Mr. Mayer’s room. Monday,
May 12th beginning at 2:28 PM, right after school. Please see Mr. Mayer if you have any questions.
Two former Hanford Varsity Cheerleaders,
graduated last year, have reached the BIG time! Elisabeth Reyes and Rosslyn Luke have been selected to be members
of the University of Washington Cheer Team for the 2008-2009 season. Way to go, Ladies…we are proud of you!!
Attention all Drama Club members: We will be voting for next year’s officers
after school in Mr. Leggett’s room.

On May 13th and 14th,
Hanford High School is hosting the American Cancer Society in a Relay for
Life. Put together a team and come have
lots of fun! If you want more
information, or have any questions, you can talk to Sarah Sederburg, Marissa
Avila or Claire Dann.
Perry Institute will be in the Commons on May
12th during both lunches.
Please stop by to get information.
WSU Tri Cities will be in the Career Center
May 12th at 12 PM to discuss college options. Please plan to attend for more information.
HHS is having a fundraiser for Hunter Tank on
Friday, May 23rd and needs your help in making baskets for a Silent
Auction. If you would like to help,
please contact Alex Belmonte (HHS student).
Also, students, please let your parents know of this fundraiser and have
them contact Alex if they are willing to donate items or help.
Yearbook distribution will begin Tuesday, May
27th, at 2:30 pm. If you
haven’t purchased a yearbook, you may buy them in the Bookkeeping Office for
$50 through Friday, May 16th.
If there are any left, they are available on a first come, first serve
basis during distribution.
