Public invited to review AP Computer Science and Health, including HIV/AIDS materials


Richland School District parents and community members are invited to review instructional materials being proposed for Health (including HIV/AIDS information for grades 6, 7 and 9th grades) and Advanced Placement Computer Science. Reviewers will have the opportunity to give written feedback to the Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum Department. The materials will be available March 2 - 13, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Richland School District Administration Building, 615 Snow Avenue. Preparing for New Test Scores - SBAC

On March 10th the assessment window opens for the new Smarter Balanced Assessment Sonsortium (SBAC) tests that will be administered in English/Language Arts and Math in grades 3, 4, 5,6,7,8, and 11.  The assessment windows remain open through May and specific test schedule will vary by teacher and grade.  Please contact your child’s teacher or the school counselor if you have questions or concerns regarding the upcoming assessments.
