We welcome and encourage all students to become involved in Chief Joseph Middle School Athletics.
Basic participation requirements for eligibility are:
Live with parents/guardians within the boundaries of Chief Joseph Middle School
Attend school last semester.
Pass four full time subjects during last semester.
Student shall not have reached their 15th birthday prior to June 1, of the previous school year.
Complete all eligibility papers, including physical examination, accident insurance, Chief Joseph Middle School athletic profile, and participation agreement.
Purchase ASB card ($20.00).
Do not use, provide others, or possess drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and have not violated our school’s policies or codes on alcohol/tobacco/drugs.
Pay participation fee of $35.00 per sports season. Fees are collected at the window in the office.
Take care of paperwork necessary for eligibility now. Pay fees now.
Our intent is to afford all student athletes the best possible opportunity for team and individual success. We can make this happen if our athletes and parents help maintain the highest expectations in regard to:
Training regulations
Communication
Place team before individual goals
Trust and respect for coaches, teammates and proper sportsmanship behavior
All district policies and extracurricular participation will be upheld and enforced.
