FALL SPORTS CLEARANCE NIGHT - We will hold another sports clearance night for fall athletes on Wednesday, August 18 at 6:30 PM. This is for athletes and parents who where unable to attend the sports clearance meeting in the spring. If you attended the spring meeting you do not need to attend.

8th Grade Football starts on August 23rd at 3:00 pm. Meet in the Gym for gear and locker assignments.

7th Grade Football starts on August 24 at 3:00 PM - Meet in the Gym for gear and locker assignments.

8th Grade Volleyball tryouts start on Monday, August 30 @ 3:00 to 4:45 PM in the main gym.

7th Grade Volleyball tryouts start on Tuesday, August 31st @ 3:00 to 4:45 PM in the main gym.

Athletics Basic Information
Athletes must have a physical before they can tryout. Physicals are good for one school year. Paperwork can be picked up across from the office in advance.

Sports fees are paid at Carmichael's main office with the ASB Secretary, Mrs. Freeman. You may pay the sports fee in advance starting the second week of August at the Carmichael office. Athletic paper work can also be picked up in advance at the office at this time as well or printed from our website.

Carmichael Middle School has a strong tradition of students participating in Cougar athletics. Our athletes and coaches take pride in sportsmanship and thrive in competition. The Richland School District has a no-cut policy for all middle school athletics which means all of our athletes are given an opportunity to compete.

Cougar Pride is stronger than it has ever been, and we are proud of our athletic facilities. Carmichael student athletes are second to none. Come see us in action!

Winter I, Winter II and Springs Sport Athletes

Any athlete who has already played in a sport this year only needs to pay their sport fee and have their parent sign the safety sheet to be cleared to participate.

If you are an athlete the requirements for participation are outlined below - we invite you to come out and play.

Before students can participate in any sport they must have:
