	A Word From Our President A MESSAGE FROM THE PTO PRESIDENT There is nothing better than the anticipation of summer vacation… a time chocked full of staying up late and then sleeping in; going camping with your family; swimming with friends; eating popsicles and ice cream…and all the other great things that go along with being a kid! But before the final bell rings and the kids race for freedom, I wanted to reflect on a what a GREAT year we have had : To kick off the year, the “Badger Family” welcomed new staff members and new families to our school. The entire school turned out to run and raise money at the Jog-A-Thon. Students and families rallied to support a classmate as he battled cancer. Many parents logged numerous volunteer hours in the class-rooms and at PTO events. Most importantly, the kids did their best throughout the year to learn and grow as they continued on this journey called school! A lot of memories were made and exciting milestones were achieved…too many to list here! So, please join me in giving a heartfelt THANK-YOU to our staff, the PTO board, and all the other volunteers that made this year so GREAT! See you next fall… Sincerely, Melissa Callaway
