Welcome to Badger Mountain Elementary

Badger Mountain Elementary is committed to developing self-motivated, life-long learners. Nominations accepted for

Hi-Cap kindergarten

The Richland School District will be accepting nominations in September for its school-based Highly Capable Kindergarten Program. Kindergarten students enrolling in the fall of 2014 may be nominated for the program. The window to submit the Nominations Consent Form is September 1 to September 15. Contact the school office to obtain a Nomination-Consent Form or access the hyperlink above. For more information, call 967-6028.


The school-based highly-capable program is designed to meet the needs of students at each elementary school who have exceptional ability by offering challenging and enriching learning experiences through differentiated instruction. Teaching strategies include an emphasis on problem-solving, critical thinking skills, creativity skills and the development of research skills.

boundaries option

District seeks public input on boundaries – interactive map online

The Boundaries Revisions Committee has been working since March to develop new elementary school boundaries. With the District’s tenth elementary school opening next August, boundary lines must be adjusted prior to the 2015-16 school year. All parents are invited to review the proposed adjustments (link below – may take a few seconds to load) and give their feedback at a public input meeting on Thursday, September 11, 6:30 pm, at White Bluffs Elementary School.

Hockey Tickets to Support


Purchase Hockey Tickets, American’s vs. Seattle Thunderbirds on September 26th at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $10 each with $3 from each ticket going to BME.  For ticket delivery, please list your oldest student’s name and their teacher in the special instructions box.
