Enrolling New Students for 2016-17 using Online Registration

Parents of new students who are enrolling in the Richland School District for the 2016-17 school year now have the option to complete their student’s enrollment information online.  Here’s how to do that:

Step 1:  Pick up a registration packet at the school that serves your child’s attendance area. 

Please bring these documents with you:

  • Proof of residency (current utility bill or rental agreement). 
  • Certified Birth Certificate (not the certificate from the hospital)
  • Washington State immunization record listing dates that the shots were received.


You will be asked to complete these forms at the school office:

  • Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS)
  • Student Health History form
  • Federal Ethnicity and Race Collection form
  • McKinney-Vento Questionnaire form
  • Additional school-specific forms & questionnaires

Step 2: Submit an online Pre-Registration Request for 2016-17.

After you have submitted your student’s registration packet at your child’s school, click here to Submit a New Student Pre-Registration Request for 2016-17.  

You will be asked for a small amount of basic information about your student so that we can match your online pre-registration request with the registration information provided to the school.

 

Step 3: Complete the rest of your student’s enrollment information online.

Within two school business days after you submit your online pre-registration request, you’ll receive an e-mail that contains a ‘Snapcode’ that will give you access to the district’s online registration site powered by InfoSnap.

When you receive your Snapcode, click here to Submit New Student Enrollment Information for 2016-17.  You’ll be asked to create an Infosnap account that will let you log into Infosnap and submit the rest of your student’s enrollment information online. 

 

IMPORTANT!  Your child’s registration is not complete until you have clicked the Final Submit button in Infosnap and provided hard copies of the documents listed in Step #1 to the school.
