Guest jazz artists coming to HHS >>
The Hanford High School Music Department is hosting a guest artist concert "Hot Java, Cool Jazz" on Friday, January 16, 7:30 pm, in the HHS auditorium. The performance will feature the father and son duo of Dan (trumpet) and Ryan (trombone) Keberle along with the HHS Jazz Orchestra. Tickets are available at both the Kennewick and Richland Bookworm stores and at the door.

Hanford High School's Varsity Cheer Squad earned third place in the 2008 American School Spirit Awards competition. Judges evaluated the portfolios of 40 cheerleading teams from across the nation.

Sacajawea Elementary donates truck load of toys to Toys for Tots >>
The Sacajawea Elementary School student council coordinated a successful "Toys for Tots" toy drive this month. The 293 new toys filled the entire back end of the Toys for Tots pickup truck from Toyota of Tri-Cities.
